Santy Masciarò
I spent in Syracuse, Italy, the first 25 years of my life.
Here I discovered my passion for the classical guitar and I started studying, studying and studying...
At only 19 years I got my diploma at the Conservatorium of Pescara with the highest appreciation "cum laude" of the jury.
Then I decided to criss-cross Europe for performing and giving master classes.
I finally settled down in Germany where I lived for 10 years. Here I built up the MUSIKKUNSTSCHULE offering art, language, music courses and concerts. I also gave Italian classes at the University in Weimar and Erfurt.
Besides my studies, I regularly participated in master classes to further develop my techniques with well-known guitarists such as David Russell.
I attended post-graduate studies at the "Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar" with Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering.
I recorded my first CD "Viaggio Latino" containing my own compositions which were also published by Trekel Hamburg. Two years later, I registered a second CD dedicated to J. S. Bach and D. Scarlatti called "Anno 1685".
In 2012 I moved to Toulouse with my family and opened a music venue called “L’Ouverture” dedicated to music performances and gastronomy. After seven years of successful business activities, I moved to London in 2019.
Here I opened the Dante Society London whose purpose is the promotion of Italian culture. Since October 2019 I've been working as music performance tutor at the University of West London. In 2020 I launched Dolce Vita London, the crowning achievement of my past activities.
